The school’s AP participation rate is among the highest in Fulton County, and its science department is widely regarded as one of the strongest in North Fulton. Many Chattahoochee students compete in Science Olympiad and regional math competitions, and the school’s college placement record reflects a culture where rigorous STEM preparation is the expectation, not the exception.

Chattahoochee students often arrive to SAT prep with strong academic fundamentals, but the jump from classroom performance to competitive test scores is not automatic. Students regularly earn admission to UGA, Georgia Tech, Emory, and competitive out-of-state universities. Georgia Tech applicants should aim for 1400 to 1500+, and Emory targets generally start at 1450+.
